The guitars of Paracho are famous internationally, and this community is known as the Guitar Capital of Mexico. Located in the Purépecha plateau, it is located about 90 minutes from Patzcuaro . To get there, take the Highway 14D to Uruapan . There, you will have two options. The shorter of the two is to go via San Juan Tumbio and Cheran; the other is going through Uruapan itself. The National Guitar Fair in Paracho will be held August 3-11.   This annual event is for everyone who enjoys guitar music, tradition, and artisanship.   The prize-winning artisans of Paracho have achieved international fame for their guitars . National Guitarre Fair in Paracho   August is also the month for the National Copper Fair in Santa Clara del Cobre .   With these two events, August is an excellent time for our Pátzcuaro visitors to enhance their summer experience. La Feria Nacional de la Guitarra en Paracho del 3 al 11 de Agosto , está por comerzar. Un evento para la gente que gusta de la buena música de guitarra, las tradiciones y las artesanías.
