The Archaeological Site of Tingambato, Michoacán

The Archaeological Site of Tingambato is remarkable in that it has more traits of the Teotihuacán constructions than the ruins such as those of nearby Tzintzuntzan and Ihuatzio , which are those of the indigenous (Purépecha). The period of development and the heyday of Tingambato is divided into two stages: from 450 to 600 a.d., when it became populated, and the second stage of development, 600 to 900 a.d., per the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH).
