Tacambaro is another Magic Town in Michoacan , located just 55 kilometers (25 miles) south of Patzcuaro . Known as the Balcony of Tierra Caliente , it received its title of Pueblo Mágico in November 2012. Panorama of the Tierra Caliente Tacambaro is blessed with a fabulous climate and lovely, natural surroundings and avocado orchards. The pastoral area has a small lake (“pool”) and and extinct volcano surrounded by pines and oak trees. Another place you may want to visit is the Hollow Hill Ecological Park, which is a natural protected area from which you can admire the Tierra Caliente panorama, and visit the Magdalena Lagoon.
