Among the works that decorate our walls are those by distinguished Michoacán painters, including several works of the outstanding painter Soledad Tafolla Leveroni . The Cultural Center / Old Jesuit College in Pátzcuaro

The Cultural Center / Old Jesuit College, also known as the Ex Colegio Jesuita in Pátzcuaro , is a place to enjoy culture, and in the context of a lovely 16 th century building. This “College of the Society of Jesus” was the second of its kind that was established in “New Spain,” after the first one in Mexico City.  It was built in what was the orchard of what would become the Cathedral of Michoacán (now the Basílica). Seventh Piano Festival of Pátzcuaro

The Seventh Piano Festival of Pátzcuaro kicks off Saturday, April 2, and will continue for the remainder of the month.  This event, which has been met with great success since its inception, has enriched the cultural life of our Pueblo Mágico.   To mark the Seventh Piano Festival of Pátzcuaro , we will see professional recitals, a concert in the Plaza Vasco de Quiroga (Plaza Grande), contemporary concerts, local talent, and even a silent film with live piano. The professional recitals will take place in the Teatro Emperador Caltzontzin at 6:00 p.m. ($50 pesos).  These concerts are as follows: In the P laza Vasco de Quiroga , opposite our very own Hotel Mansion Iturbe , we will hear "Pianarte.
