The National Guitar Fair in Paracho will be held August 3-11. This annual event is for everyone who enjoys guitar music, tradition, and artisanship. The prize-winning artisans of Paracho have achieved international fame for their guitars . National Guitarre Fair in Paracho August is also the month for the National Copper Fair in Santa Clara del Cobre . With these two events, August is an excellent time for our Pátzcuaro visitors to enhance their summer experience. Paracho is 45 miles from Pátzcuaro (Route 14), and is ready, willing, and able to receive visitors! You will find various venues for guitar-building competitions during the Faire. Other areas represented in addition to Michoacán include Tijuana, and the States of Mexico, Sonora, and Guanajuato.
