Collective Branding in Michoacán
Collective branding protects the creations of Michoacán artisans, which are part of their great cultural heritage. The art that they create – and which always surprises and delights us – has been a legacy of their ancestors, which they treasure with great pride.

In addition to safeguarding their enormous ancestral heritage, collective branding allows artisans to distinguish themselves from third parties, who produce or imitate similar works.
Collective brandings are obtained by
artisans through the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property, with the support
of the Institute of the Artisan of Michoacán, being their own seal that they
develop through an Association of Artisans.

During the pandemic, artisans have gone through extraordinarily difficult times, so it is more important than ever to support them. And the best way to do it is by buying their products, so that this art continues to pass from generation to generation (not to mention the fact that the young creators have enormous talent!).
Easily in walking distance from our own Hotel Mansión Iturbe in Pátzcuaro, there are different craft workshops
that you can visit. Huitzimengari Palace or the House of the Eleven Patios are excellent venues. You will also be amazed if you make the
