New Freeway between Cuitzeo and Patzcuaro
If you are wondering how to get to Patzcuaro from the Morelia airport and points east
including San Miguel de Allende,
it’s now easier than ever, thanks to the new Cuitzeo-Pátzcuaro highway. This new toll road will allow you to
avoid the hassle of going through busy Morelia, and get you to our Magical
Village faster and safer.

This 63-kilometer (39-mile) segment connects with the
other segments of the “Century XXI!” toll road, which allows quick and easy
access from Pátzcuaro to Uruapan, Lázaro
Cárdenas and Ixtapa – Zihuatanejo.
If you are coming from Mexico City this new freeway is also an excellent option
to get to Pátzcuaro.
