contest promoted by the Discovery Quest
México Platform, focused on people who enjoy traveling, discovering places

The event took
place in Querétaro on September 27th, as part of the International Day of Tourism. The venue for the important event was
the City Theater, where the winners of the various categories received their
awards, which were:

The National
Jazz Orchestra of Mexico participated during the award ceremony, together
with Miguel Valiñas, originally from Querétaro (also nominated as a Mexico
Must). A tribute to the great Mexican painters, such as Frida Kahlo, Diego
Rivera, José Clemente Orozco, Rufino Tamayo, David Alfaro Siqueiros y Francisco
Toledo, was also part of the event.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the
lovely, 200-year-old Ex Convento de Santa Rosa de Viterbo, which was just
recently restored.
