La Tzaráracua Waterfalls , is a surprising spectacle of nature. A good option, if you visit us for several days at Hotel Mansion Iturbe in Patzcuaro and want to be in contact with nature. The distance between Patzcuaro and La Tzaráracua is about 65 kilometers taking the road 14D. Our friend Andrew Carhartt, an American resident in Patzcuaro , shares with us his experience of his last visit to this beautiful place: “La Tzaráracua is located about 10 kilometers (5 miles) outside Uruapan .  It is a site of one main 40-meter-high waterfall, with multiple, smaller waterfalls (coming out of the walls of the hill) on either side of the main one.  It is unique to the experience of the writer.
