Pátzcuaro’s Festival of Faith: Celebrating the Virgin of Health in 2025
Get ready to experience the soul of Michoacán. Every year, Pátzcuaro hosts its most cherished celebration: the festival honoring Nuestra Señora de la Salud (Our Lady of Health). In 2025, this traditional event becomes even more historic as we commemorate three major milestones, including the 500th Anniversary of Evangelization in Michoacán.

The Virgin herself is a masterpiece of history, commissioned by Don Vasco de Quiroga in 1540 and crafted using the ancient Purépecha corn cane paste technique. She is the silent, revered patron of Pátzcuaro, standing as a beautiful symbol of our region's rich cultural blend.
