Sixth Annual Piano Festival in Patzcuaro
This year, the
Sixth Annual Piano Festival in Patzcuaro
kicks off March 7 and extends through March 28. This popular event draws visitors from far
and near. It is made even more enjoyable
with the arrival of spring – always a fine season to enjoy cultural events in Patzcuaro.
The primary venue for this event is the “TeatroEmperador Caltzóntzin” across from the Plaza Gertrudis Bocanegra (“Plaza Chica”), although several performances take place in the Centro Cultural Antiguo Colegio Jesuita (“Ex Colegio”) and Centro de Cooperación Regional para la Educación de Adultos En América Latina y el Caribe (CREFAL).

blocks from Hotel Mansion Iturbe.

concerts will take place on Saturdays.

performances are $50 pesos at the door.
