Celebrating Day of the Dead in Patzcuaro
Night of the Dead (Noche de
Muertos) is commonly celebrated the night of November 1, while Day of the Dead(Día de Muertos) is the
day after.
Day of the Dead in Pátzcuaro and in the Lake region is one of the most representative of Michoacan’s cultural expressions, when the indigenous Purépechas honor their dearly beloved with deep respect and solemnity.
This is a reunion with the deceased who return to visit their family, as they have for many years. At Hotel Mansión Iturbe, we invite you to participate in the celebration with the families of the deceased with all the respect they deserve.
